We are excited to announce the open sourcing of one of our internal projects: LessCSS4j! This is a Java library that compiles LESS files to CSS. LESS is an extension of the CSS language to provide support for things like variables, expressions (i.e. addition, subtraction, etc.), mixins (reusable, parameterized, CSS rule sets), and more. The original version was written in Ruby and then later rewritten in JavaScript. LessCSS4j provides additional features such as support for keyframes, support for some Internet Explorer specific syntax, Spring integration and Servlet API integration.

For more details, see the LessCSS4j GitHub project.
